DEME Orders Second

IHC Holland announced on January 31 that they had received an order from Dredging Environmental & Marine Engineering N.V. (DEME) of Belgium for a trailing suction hopper dredge. The 13700 cubic meter 20000 dead weight ton dredge is a copy of the 1998 Lange Wapper delivered to the same company. Read More

China Offshore Buys Multibeam

China Offshore Oil Geophysical Corp. (Tianjin P.R.C.) has contracted with Triton Elics International Watsonville California for a fully integrated TEI Hydro Suite Multibeam Survey System. Hydro Suite collects high resolution bathymetry with a 120 degree swath to a depth of 300 meters. China Offshore will use the Hydro Suite system to support oilfield engineering and oil exploration. Dredging Contract News. City of Benicia to Dredge Marina

The City of Benicia Public Works Department is planning a procurement to perform maintenance dredging of the Benicia Marina. The work entails dredging of the entire marina to restore the harbor basin to its authorized dimensions. The dredging work is scheduled for this summer. Read More
