Buckets for Maintenance Dredging

This environmental clamshell is under construction for Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company (GLDD) at Cable Arm’s facility near Detroit. GLDD will use the bucket to remove maintenance material prior to deepening the channel in the Arthur Kill at the Port of New York and New Jersey. At a 1.8-foot depth of cut the bucket has a capacity of 30 cubic yards. Marinex Construction Company has ordered a 50-cubic-yard bucket and Cashman Dredging has ordered a 70-cubic-yard bucket from Cable Arm both for maintenance dredging.
