WEDA Chapters Announce Fall Conferences

The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) Pacific Chapter Fall 2019 Conference will be held October 29 to 31 at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach, California. The tentative agenda will include meetings of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, ports and industry, federal dredging program presentations, hosted poster social, technical presentations and chapter business. An evening educational and historic cruise will be taken on John Wayne’s private yacht, the Wild Goose. A first call for abstracts will be sent in mid-April along with the opening of online registration.

The WEDA Eastern Chapter Fall 2019 conference will be held October 16 to 18 at the Hotel Dupont in Wilmington, Delaware. The tentative agenda will include an opportunity for attendees to take the Dredging 101 course, followed by two days of technical presentations, and a tour of the Corps dredge, McFarland. The first call for abstracts will be issued in mid-April.
