IADC’s Dredging and Reclamation Seminar to be Held June 24 to 28

The International Association of Dredging Companies (IADC) will hold its Dredging and Reclamation Seminar at the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education, in Delft, The Netherlands from June 24 to 28.

The seminar is aimed at (future) decision makers and their advisors in governments, port and harbor authorities, off-shore companies and other organizations that undertake dredging projects.

The five-day course strives to provide an understanding about dredging and reclamation through lectures by experts in the field, workshops and an on-site visit to a current dredging project. Some of the subjects that will be covered during the seminar includes: the development of new ports and maintenance of existing ports; project phasing; descriptions of types of dredging equipment; costing of projects; and types of dredging projects.
