WODCON XXII To Be Held in Shanghai

The World Organizations of Dredging Associations (WODA) will host the 22nd World Dredging Congress & Dredging Exposition (WODCON XXII) at the Shanghai International Convention Center in Shanghai, China from April 22 to April 26. The event will be co-hosted by the Eastern Dredging Association (EADA), the China Dredging Association (CHIDA), CCCC Dredging Group and CCCC Shanghai Dredging Company. Representatives from international dredging organizations, members of the Chinese dredging industry, engineering technicians and other leaders and experts in the dredging industry are invited to attend.

The theme of the conference is “Enhance the Harmony between Dredging and Ecology,” focused on sustainability in dredging. The conference will also focus on China’s rapidly growing presence in the global dredging market and its history of modern dredging development. The achievements in construction of major dredging projects in China and across the globe, including dredging technology and equipment innovations will be discussed.

Participants will visit the automated terminal, Yangshan Deepwater Port and view China’s dredging development achievements exhibition. The exhibit hall will feature up to 46 vendors.
