OSIL Expands ROV Tool Capabilities

Ocean Scientific International Ltd (OSIL) has added multiple water sample collection systems with built-in water quality monitoring to its line of deep sea ROV sampling equipment.

OSIL’s range of ROV tools include the instrumented water sample collection system and now an undisturbed sediment sampling system, an instrumented pressure activated camera system, and a deep-sea solenoid actuator, which can be adapted to suit application requirements.

All ROV tools are rated to 6,000 meters (19,685 feet) and have a wide range of potential applications including monitoring deep sea mineral retrieval and oil & gas operations, scientific exploration and environmental impact assessments.
