WEDA Pacific Chapter Releases Draft Conference Agenda

The Pacific Chapter of the Western Dredging Association (WEDA) has released the draft agenda for its upcoming conference, from October 23 to 25 at the Hilton Waikiki Beach on Kuhio in Honolulu, Hawaii.

The overall themes for the sessions are navigation, planning, beneficial reuse, site remediation and safety. Presenters from several Corps regions and dredging companies will talk specifically on the topics of sediment management; emergency beach erosion control; watershed mitigation bank; confined aquatic disposal facilities; pore water sample collection; environmental permitting challenges; new technologies and techniques; and numerous case studies. Outside of the educational sessions, the conference will also feature an opening reception, poster social, networking breaks and lunches, and a closing boat tour. To register click here.
