Registration is now open for the 2018 WEDA Gulf Coast Chapter meeting taking place November 13 to 15 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Attendees from all areas of the industry including regulatory, resource agencies, contracting and manufacturing will exchange information on dredging economics, benefits, technologies and current issues. The event will also feature a golf tournament, opening reception, Society of American Military Engineers (S.A.M.E). luncheon and “The Big Event” at the World War II Museum. The board is accepting abstracts for technical presentations showcasing dredging’s impacts on coastal restoration, economics and national security, as well as any other aspects of dredging and disposal.
