Sennebogen Introduces New Material Handler

Sennebogen has introduced the 855 E model to its line of material handlers. With an operating weight of approximately 160,000 pounds, the new 855 features reach packages from 59 to 68 feet, a 305 HP (227 kW) Cummins Tier 4f diesel engine. The new models are available as rubber tired, crawler and stationary versions and can be equipped with diesel engines or electric motors.

The 855 E comes with Sennebogen’s Green Hybrid system, with a large energy recovery cylinder mounted in between the boom’s two hoist cylinders. The hydraulics of this energy recovery cylinder reduce the fuel demand for each lift cycle by as much as 30 percent.

The latest version of Sennebogen’s Maxcab also comes standard on the 855 E. It includes a range of ergonomic comfort features, large windows and joystick controls. A two-camera system gives operators a clear view to the right side past the boom and to the rear of the machine. Bulletproof glass is also standard in the Maxcab as are other safety features like a permanent catwalk and handrails on top of the upper carriage.
