Coda Octopus Real-Time 3D Sonar Technology Featured at Glasgow Conference

Coda Octopus will be showcasing its real-time 3D volumetric imaging sonar technology at the Undersea Defence Technology Conference (UDT) June 26 to 28 in Glasgow. The technology allows users to generate a real-time 3D image of their underwater environment in zero visibility conditions.

In addition, Paul McMurtie will deliver an address at the conference on the U.S. Navy’s Divers Augmented Vision Display program (Project DAVD), which is designed to provide real-time visualization for divers at all depths and in zero visibility conditions. Coda Octopus is working with the team at the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to develop the Head Up Display (HUD), a prototype real-time 3D sonar imaging hardware and real-time 3D augmented visualization software that will provide a complete underwater 3D scene for the DAVD system.
