Port of Houston Commissioners to Consider Berth Dredging

At its meeting on Tuesday June 29 the Port Commission of the Port of Houston Authority will consider nearly $2 million for maintenance dredging of the Authority’s berths at its terminals along the Houston Ship Channel and a $68000 Texas Transportation Institute study to evaluate the economic impacts of the lack of dredging. Chairman Jim Edmonds will preside over the meeting with Commissioners Steve Phelps Jim Fonteno Kase Lawal Jimmy Burke Janiece Longoria and Elyse Lanier attending.
