Dutch Dredging Upgrades Systems

Dutch Dredging has contracted Reson Rotterdam to upgrade the guidance and monitoring Systems aboard the hopper dredge Amazone to PDS2000 Hopper.

Reson supplied and installed the software and the interfaces to the existing sensors. The Amazone is also fitted with the latest PDS2000 software for DLM (Draft Load Monitoring) and TDS (Tons Dry Sediment) which provide information about load draft tons dry solids and reporting.

Dutch Dredging uses PDS2000 for all single beam hydrographic surveys along with SeaBat multibeam echosounders. Survey data such as DTM’s project data and data-files can be shared between PDS2000 Survey and PDS2000 Hopper without carrying out conversions.
