William J. Wetta II P.E. and Bob Wetta owners of Dredging Supply Company have announced a reorganization of their executive team to fill vacancies created by changes in their leadership group.
Bob Wetta former vice president of sales will now serve as the company’s president focusing on overall sales manufacturing finance and human resources functions of day-to-day business.
William (Bill) Wetta former president moves to chief executive officer. He will focus on research and development keeping the company on top of recent engineering trends.
Charles Johnson who was recently promoted to director of sales will assume responsibility of the sales team coordinating domestic and international sales.
Until recently the responsibilities of chief operations officers were shared by several within the executive team. As the company grows and sales continue to break records DSC added two new executives to the team.
Gary Hamilton who joined the company in February will serve as chief operations officer and will be in charge of production. Hamilton’s background includes more than 20 years of experience in health and safety operations and sales in the manufacturing industry.
The company also welcomes Terri Heyd CPA. She will serve as DSC’s chief financial officer and will be responsible for overseeing the human resources and financial departments. Heyd’s experience includes 20 years in finance and a background in marine manufacturing.
With the executive team’s new structure DSC will better serve their customers by developing new concepts and advancing their existing technologies. DSC has seen record-breaking sales for the past few years and will continue to grow while expanding internationally.
