Trimble dealers have participated in training courses in the United States and Europe in recent months.
In July the company presented a Terramodel processing course in Houston for some North American dealers. Terramodel software is used extensively in the civil engineering and road design market as well as in the hydrographic market for handling large data sets. The course covered the use of this software for processing Marine Survey data to get three-dimensional images plotted plans of soundings and volumes related to dredging. Those who attended were Ken McMillan of McQuest Lou Nash of Measutronics Dom Ong and Marcelino Rodriguez of Trimble Del Stewart of Geoline Wade Jordan of WDS Mike Grey of Accupoint and John Drake of Gahagan & Bryant.
In September Trimble Europe held a marine survey trainers course for selected European dealers. The course was designed to ensure that the dealers have a high standard of product knowledge and can support the company’s GPS DGPS RTK and HYDROPro software.
