The requirements for this role are as follows -
Certificate of Competence as Master Mariner, relevant dredging courses and minimum 10 years experience as Master of modern dredgers. 5 years experience in planning, costing and priority setting of dredging operations based on input of survey data. Documented experience with implementation of SMS in compliance with the ISM Code and training of multi-cultural crew. Good proficiency in spoken and written English.
In addition;

The dredger is a trailing suction hopper dredger with below principal dimensions:
- Length (overall): 82,00 m
- Length PP: 78,00 m
- Breadth mld.: 16,00 m
- Depth mld: 6,20 m
- Draugh mld: 5,50 m

I also have the following requirements for the same client;

On-dredger Chief Engineer

Certificate of Competency as Chief Engineer and 10 years experience as engineer/chief engineer on board modern dredgers. Experience with repairs and maintenance of advanced dredging equipment.
Documented experience with implementation of planned and preventive maintenance systems, SMS in compliance with the ISM Code and training of multi-cultural crew. Good proficiency in spoken and written English.

Hydrographic Surveyor

B.Sc. in surveying with 10 years experience as hydrographic surveyor. 5 years working experience with the equipment, software and systems proposed by Contractor for installation on board the new TSH Dredger and the “CHIRE”. Documented experience with planning, costing and implementation of hydrographic surveys and with training of multicultural survey staff. Good proficiency in spoken and written English.

Engineering Manager
(Shore based)

Degree as Marine engineer or Mechanical engineer supported by formal training in management and financial disciplines. 10 years experience with technical fleet management, including budgeting for capital and recurrent expenditure, planning and execution of dockings, cooperation with classification societies and national authorities, management and control of documents and ship’s certificates and monitoring of planned maintenance schemes. Ability to transfer know-how and work and cooperate with people in a multi-cultural environment. Good proficiency in spoken and written English.

Electronics/electrical engineer

Degree as electronics/electrical engineer. 10 years experience with installation, repairs and maintenance of electronics and electrical installations on board ships. Ability to transfer know-how and work and cooperate with people in a multi-cultural environment. Good proficiency in spoken and written English.

Hydraulics Engineer

Degree as hydraulics engineer. 10 years experience with installation, repairs and maintenance of hydraulic systems on board ships, of which 5 years in modern dredgers. Ability to transfer know-how and work and cooperate with people in a multi-cultural environment. Good proficiency in spoken and written English.
