WEDA Pacific Chapter Hosts Conference in Seattle

The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) Pacific Chapter will host its annual conference at the Arctic Club in Seattle Washington from October 22 to 24.

On Wednesday October 22 from 1 to 3 p.m. the Corps/Dredging Contractor meeting will take place with the 2014/15 federal dredging program presentation from 3 to 5 p.m. followed by the ice breaker from 6 to 9 p.m.

The agenda on Thursday October 23 will include technical presentations and a luncheon program. A tour to the Boeing Museum of Flight will follow the luncheon.

On Friday October 24 technical presentations will continue in the morning and conclude with chapter business about noon.

Technical presentation topics include the repowering of Dredge Oregon from the Port of Portland Everett Shipyard Cleanup strategic endangered species protection for dredging projects the benefits of mechanical dewatering and more.
