Ship Hits Dredge Near Haldia Port

At 3 a.m. on Sunday August 30 the bulk carrier MV City rammed Dredging Corporation of India’s Dredge 16 in Jellingham near India’s Haldia Port. A report in the Times of India said that both vessels sustained extensive damage but that there were no casualties.

The Dredge 16 was performing maintenance dredging near the port complex.
