Parsons Brinckerhoff on Ground Zero Team

The New York City office of Parsons Brinckerhoff has been chosen to work with the architects assigned to develop the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan.

The 16-acre site will be redeveloped with a combination of office space, retail space, open space and memorials to the nearly 3000 people who died in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

The Lower Manhattan Development Corp. is directing re-development of the 16-acre site, and named Beyer Blinder Belle Architects & Planners along with Parsons Brinckerhoff and other specialists to produce a plan for the area by the end of the year.
