Dredging Colleagues Were in Trade Center

The World Trade Center in New York City held offices of a number of dredging industry colleagues. Both towers collapsed this morning when apparently hijacked commercial airplanes crashed into them minutes apart.

The organizations are: Rollins Hudig Hall, marine underwriters, whose office was on the 101st floor of Tower 2. The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey had offices on the 34th floor of Tower 1, and the New York Shipping Association was on the 20th floor of Tower 2.

We are attempting to quickly repair our Dredging Forum on this website so people can post messages as they receive news of these and others involved in the tragedy. Until the forum is reactivated, please email us at: editor@dredgemag.com with news, and we will immediately post your message in this space.
