The tender documents require the design consultant to propose appropriate standards and criteria for the design and construction of river-training works, using all available and relevant international standards and codes of best practice for river-training works and stabilization of soft riverbanks. The experience of the Jamuna bridge project will be a standard for the Padma Bridge project.
