Sanborn Joins Moffatt & Nichol

David C. Sanborn has joined Moffatt & Nichol as senior port consultant the company announced on November 2.

Sanborn’s career spans 35 years in the shipping ports and transport sectors of the maritime industry. He has managed numerous container ports and has been involved in concept and design processes for logistics facilities in key areas of the world. He has had extensive international experience in all aspects of general management within the transportation industry having held senior positions in the United States Brazil Europe Hong Kong the Dominican Republic Singapore and Dubai.

Sanborn has presented papers to conferences and technical groups and sits on several boards of directors. He is a member of the United States Merchant Marine Academy Alumni Association the American Association of Port Authorities and the Charleston Propeller Club.

He is a graduate of the United States Merchant Marine Academy a veteran of the U.S. Navy and an ex-Merchant Marine officer.
