The five-day event will be held from March 22 through 25, 2010 in Miami, Florida.
The conference program will focus on core issues that relate to the innovation and integration of geospatial technologies in the areas of hydrographic survey, ports and waterways, chart production and web mapping.
Suggested paper themes are: Bathymetric Revolutions; Production Environments: Desktop versus Enterprise; Ping-to-Chart; Workflow Optimization; Specialized Chart Products; Merging Land and Sea.
Through these themes, the organizers hope to expand awareness and implementation of best practices and effective solutions for data management and production performance, and solidify the role of all stakeholders in the broader marine geospatial community.
