Bubba Savage is the new president of Mobile Pulley.
On November 20, 2000 McGowan Patrick, president of Offshore Tool & Energy Corporation OT&E), announced the appointment of Albert J. “Bubba” Savage III as President of Mobile Pulley & Machine Works and Mobile Pulley Marine Services, Mobile, Alabama.
Following in the footsteps of his father, who was president of Mobile Pulley for 18 years, Savage enters into this new position with more than 20 years experience at Mobile Pulley. Prior to being named president, Savage was executive vice president. His experience includes time spent in purchasing, estimating, manufacturing, and sales. He is also a past president and chairman of the board of the Western Dredging Association (WEDA), and currently serves on the WEDA Environmental Commission.
The appointment initiates a reorganization in the organization, in which Mobile Pulley and Machine Works and Mobile Pulley Marine Services together form Marine Division of Offshore Tool and Energy Corporation. Savage is president of both companies, Paul Quinn is sales manager of both companies, and Carey Perry is manufacturing manager of both companies.
“This change is a move to reconfirm Mobile Pulley’s commitment to the dredging industry,” said Savage. “This management team understands and can respond effectively to the needs of the dredging industry,” he said.
Mobile Pulley furnishes cast and fabricated equipment, as well as on-site welding and repair services, primarily for the dredging and marine industries.
