Anderson Joins American Minerals
Ian Anderson has joined American Minerals, Inc. (OTC:SAMM) as vice president, dredging, and is expected to be elected to the board of directors, the company announced on November 14. Anderson has just completed a trip to the company’s gold dredging operation in the Republic of Guyana in South America.
Anderson is president of Anderson Dredging & Consulting, Ltd, headquartered in Louisiana. A native of Great Britain, he resides in the United States, and has many years of international dredging experience, including the type of operations conducted by American Minerals at its alluvial gold mining site in Guyana.
South American Minerals, Inc. began producing gold from its lease on the Konawaruk River last year, and for the six months ending June 30, 2000, produced 2,850 ounces of gold for a gross revenue of $756,000.
