The new hydraulic laboratory covers 1500 square meters, and has a total installed hydraulic power capacity of 5.5 megawatts in its eleven test cells.
“To assure the consistent high quality of our products, we need access to a modern laboratory where we can test all our hydraulic motors and accessories, and complete systems at an early stage,” explains laboratory manager Anders Westerlund.
On April 8, all personnel at the head office in Sweden celebrated this happening in the laboratory.
“This investment is an important part of our continuous development for better and improved products and drive systems. Our vision is to improve the productivity for our customers by using the performance in our hydraulic drive systems, and with this extension of the hydraulic laboratory we will be able to improve the performance even further.” said CEO Per Nordgren.
Hagglunds manufactures hydraulic drives that are widely used in the dredging industry.
