Wettas Reorganize DSC Management Team
From left, Bob Wetta, Charles Johnson, Terri Heyd, Bill Wetta, and Gary Hamilton.
Bob Wetta, former vice president of sales, will now serve as the company’s president, focusing on overall sales, manufacturing, finance, and human resources functions of day-to-day business.
William (Bill) Wetta, former president, moves to chief executive officer. He will focus on research and development, keeping the company on top of recent engineering trends.
Charles Johnson, who was recently promoted to director of sales, will assume responsibility of the sales team, coordinating domestic and international sales.
Until recently, the responsibilities of chief operations officers were shared by several within the executive team. As the company grows and sales continue to break records, DSC added two new executives to the team.
Gary Hamilton, who joined the company in February, will serve as chief operations officer and will be in charge of production. Hamilton’s background includes more than 20 years of experience in health and safety, operations, and sales in the manufacturing industry.
The company also welcomes Terri Heyd, CPA. She will serve as DSC’s chief financial officer and will be responsible for overseeing the human resources and financial departments. Heyd’s experience includes 20 years in finance, and a background in marine manufacturing.
With the executive team’s new structure, DSC will better serve their customers by developing new concepts and advancing their existing technologies. DSC has seen record-breaking sales for the past few years and will continue to grow while expanding internationally.
