CEDA Dredging Day to Feature Outsiders

Plans are set for “Dredging Seen From the Outside Looking In”, the CEDA Dredging Day, on November 15 at the Amsterdam RAI. The talks will be clients, agencies, funders and special interest groups related to, but outside the dredging industry. Their views may be supportive or negative, subjective or objective, likely contentious and even critical, said Anna Csiti, director of the Central Dredging Association (CEDA).

The Academic Hour, a special session to support young professional, will close the technical program, and will provide a forum for university and college students and young faculty to present their research on any subject related to dredging.

The day’s program will conclude with a reception, which will feature a Dredging Song Contest. Contestants in this contest should submit their words to CEDA by October 1, 2001.
