NEW SUB-BOTTOM PROFILING SOFTWARE FROM HYPACK
HYPACK has released the new HYPACK® Sub-bottom Profiling Software designed for the acquisition and processing of sub-bottom profile (SBP) data for use in marine geophysical engineering and geotechnical site surveys dredging and mining applications.
The program allows for real time view of sensor data displayed either unipolar or bi-polar with band-pass filtering and TVG. It can process large datasets supporting SEG-Y and JSF data formats and digitizes layers picks targets and exports to ASCII files.
To configure the software users must define the project geodesy configure the survey hardware import background charts plan the survey lines and then start the survey program. Hypack Sub-bottom supports both analog and digital SBP systems from leading manufacturers.
The system can be hull-mounted towed or placed on unmanned vehicles retaining accurate positioning.
