MCM MARINE DREDGES LUDINGTON HARBOR

MCM Marine executed its contract with the Corps of Engineers to dredge Ludington Harbor on Lake Michigan’s east coast. The work began June 10 and lasted about 20 days. The contract called for an area of Lake Michigan west of the harbor’s north and south breakwaters to be dredged to a depth of 34 feet.

The dredged material was deposited in about 15 feet of water in a deposit area a mile south of the breakwater near the Buttersville peninsula.
