CARIS Accepting Images for Annual Calendar

CARIS is now accepting submission for its annual calendar contest calendar contest. CARIS software users are invited to submit their favorite CARIS images including geospatial datasets maps charts 3-D views and more. Images can be entered into the contest on the CARIS website. The submission deadline is September 26 2014.

Similar to last year CARIS users and friends will be the judges of the contest by voting for their favorite images. Voting will take place October 3-19 2014 on the CARIS website and the CARIS social media web pages Facebook and Google+.

The 12 images with the highest number of votes once the polls close will win a spot in the 2015 CARIS calendar. In addition CARIS judges will choose two additional images to be included in the 14-month calendar. The winning images will also be featured on the CARIS website and be displayed on CARIS’ social media sites.

The overall calendar contest winner with the highest number of votes will receive a mounted copy of their winning image and will be featured in an article in the CARIS Coastlines e-newsletter.
