At the Western Dredging Association meeting in June, John Boc demonstrated the new 40-Watt L.E.D. floodlight McDermott is selling to the dredging industry. Mounted on a dredging crane in one application, the light has lasted for weeks, burning 24 hours a day.

“They used to change the light every day,” said Boc.

The light has a 140 degree beam angle and produces 4000 lumens, lasting 20,000 hours.
