Moffatt & Nichol Receives Guam Contract

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific area of responsibility (AOR) has selected Moffatt & Nichol for the Waterfront Design Support Contract for infrastructure upgrades to their waterfront facilities on Guam and other locations in their AOR.

This upgrade of the waterfront infrastructure will ready their facilities for the relocation of 8000 Marine Corps personnel and their 9000 dependents, plus associated Navy waterfront assets including a new CVN wharf in Apra Harbor.

The competitively procured indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, with a maximum $100 million, is to provide design support services for various waterfront/marine projects covered by the Defense Policy Review Initiative and other projects in the NAVFAC AOR.

Moffatt & Nichol’s team includes 23 Guam, Hawaii and mainland-based specialty companies. The Core Team consists of Moffatt & Nichol as prime, as well as Louis Berger Group, Louis Berger Group, Duenas Camacho & Associates, TG Engineers, Consulting Structural Hawaii and MK Engineers.
