All members of the Central, Eastern and Western Dredging Associations (CEDA, EADA and WEDA) are invited to CEDA's 25th anniversary reunion reception at 5:30 p.m., Thursday November 20, 2003 during CEDA Dredging Days. The reception will be held at the Park Restaurant at the Amsterdam Rai Congress Centre.

Jan de Koning Dies

Prof. Jan de Koning died suddenly in Amsterdam on April 12, at the age of 78. He had retired on September 29, 1993 after a 42-year dredging career that included developing important dredging techniques, obtaining 29 patents for dredging equipment, and guiding many dredging students in his role as professor of Dredging Technology at Delft University.
