Teledyne CARIS Presents New Products at Oceanology International

Teledyne CARIS will be exhibiting and hosting presentations on a host of their new products at this year’s Oceanology International, March 13 to 15 in London, England.

Teledyne CARIS and Teledyne Optech will be presenting their latest mapping software, lidar surveying and mapping solutions. CARIS Onboard™ 2.0 will be featured with information on how the software can increase bathymetric production. There will be live streaming from the Teledyne Marine vessel to the companies exhibit booth. Teledyne CARIS staff will also be on hand to discuss the latest advancements in its Engineering Analysis Module™ (EAM) that can import, create and maintain theoretical models of the seafloor for dredging and other port and harbor operations. Teledyne Optech staff will discuss the advantages of the Optech CZMIL Nova, airborne lidar bathymeter; CZMIL’s Optech HydroFusion workflow, which automatically generates a wide range of maps; Optech Titan, a commercial multispectral airborne lidar; and Optech Polaris terrestrial laser scanner.

Teledyne CARIS will also be introducing CARIS Onboard™ 2.0 that enables users to automatically apply processes to their data in near real-time, making it available to those working in the office or on the survey vessel. Survey efficiency is improved through a reduction in turn-around time. Using the latest web map technology, the control center monitors the automated system generating live-streamed surfaces, backscatter mosaics and survey track lines that can be viewed from any device with a network connection to the vessel.

Up to four File Monitors can be created on CARIS Onboard 2.0 that support multiple sensors and advance filters for more control of which files are processed.
