Anchor Environmental Will Merge With QEA
Anchor Environmental LLC of Seattle Washington and Quantitative Environmental Analysis LLC (QEA) of Montvale New Jersey have announced that the companies will merge to create a national environmental and engineering consulting firm that specializes in aquatic shoreline and water resource projects.
Effective early January 2009 the two firms will operate under the name Anchor QEA LLC and will be headquartered in Seattle Washington.
Anchor QEA with more than 200 employees nationwide will provide clients with a full range of science and engineering services including scientific investigation engineering design construction management planning and permitting. The company will continue to focus on state-of-the-science investigations and innovative solutions for contaminated sediment management water resources surface water and groundwater quality dredging coastal development and habitat restoration projects. Offices will be in California Maryland Massachusetts Mississippi New Jersey New York Oregon Pennsylvania Texas Virginia and Washington.
Separately Anchor and QEA have earned national reputations in sediment cleanup and water quality engineering issues and work for both public and private sector clients on challenging sites.
Formed in 1997 Anchor is an environmental consulting company centered in the Pacific Northwest. QEA formed in 1998 is an environmental consulting company with business operations focused in the Northeast. As with the two predecessor companies Anchor QEA will be managed by a group of shareholders.
