DSC Dredge Joins Department of Commerce for Trade Mission

DSC Dredge, LLC was invited by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) to join twelve other U.S. companies on a trade mission to the Philippines, Malaysia and Thailand in September 2013. The focus of the trade mission was on helping these countries address their growing energy and environmental needs. While most of the companies on the trip addressed renewable energy, DSC was one of the few able to focus on the environmental needs of each of the countries. Charles Sinunu, international sales director for DSC Dredge, as well as DSC local representatives in Asia participated during this weeklong trip.

Partrac Ltd. celebrated a ten-year anniversary in September. The three founding directors Kevin Black, Peter Wilson and Sam Athey, started Partrac Ltd. in 2003, and the company now has 22 staff and a warehouse full of the latest marine technology, including a number of innovative and unique marine instruments and technologies.

Duluth Project Receives TIGER Funds

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) announced a $10 million Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery (TIGER) grant for the Duluth Intermodal project, one of 52 transportation projects in 37 states that will receive a total of approximately $474 million from the grant program.
